Best city in Canada, bar none. Lived in the top cities in Canada, internationally, and second cities in Canada... none hold a candle to Halifax. Let's keep progressing!

NS Webcams has updated the Halifax Waterfront camera to be a panning camera. It shows lots of activity across the harbour (from NSCC Ivany up to the Dockyards) all from one of the buildings at King's Wharf.

Great event. Interesting how the Maple and the Roy look very nearly identical from that perspective.

They do indeed, thanks to the misguided tabletop height restrictions.

WYSE CENTRE (UPTOWN DARTMOUTH) - Without cheating by looking at my map who can name all of the buildings currently under construction and planned for within this photo (Boland-Thistle)?

No idea about the new stuff going up. But I am struck by the use of the waterfront along that stretch of Windmill Rd. I believe it is all DND facilities. Necessary of course, but such a great site for housing.

Not really Kieth, That part of the RCN lands is known as the Naval Annex and has a history of servicing the Navy's weapons, guns with the greases and other assorted poisons related to things that go bang. I have heard rumours that Irving may take over the space to make room for the very much larger Destroyers that will be under construction in the coming years. The new Destroyers are going to be almost twice the displacement of the Halifax Class
and 50% bigger than the DeWolfe class they have been building.
