That trend started already. There's the TXTS bleachers and the new TSX Tower has a stage that opens to the public. The redesigned 1 Times Square will have an observation deck and other features. It's already a place where tourists can go to experience things. 740 Eighth Ave takes things up to the top of the tower and charges for the experience. It's more of a natural progression.

The city is already forward thinking on that front. Times Square is exactly the place for this type of thing. I think about that lady who spoke about a casino in Times Square as if it were beneath TS to have such a thing. Nonsense lady! Take a step into Times Square! But beyond that, the city is looking to expand smaller style amusements across New York City. It's the Big Apple, and people who are annoyed by such things should move to a proper small town. But the city's zoning is already moving forward.
