There's been too much speculation about other potential sites recently. If LeBreton fails, I think Hurdman would be good as it serves two transit corridors, or Bayview Yards. But yes, Tunney's has a distinct advantage of being near a restaurant and retail main street.
In any case, LeBreton is still the best site, served by two Line 1 stations and Line 2, walking distance from Zibi, Vieux-Hull, Gatineau RapiBus (the Gatineau tram if built) and Preston.
