AFAIK there is already at least a couple of "French taco" chains in Montreal. We had one such restaurant here in Ottawa's west end but I don't think it even lasted three years (though I'm sure opening during COVID was a factor). Doubt it will catch on. |
Mont-Tacos, was it? I tried their tacos once in Vaudreuil. Overpriced for what it was, and not nearly as good as authentic French tacos in spite of the fancy twist. Not surprised it didn’t catch on here. It looks like O’Tacos are going for the exact same thing, some kind of luxury tacos that will most likely be overpriced. All I want is the basic stuff. It’s surprisingly good and I kinda miss it.
