Nice, we need that housing. And the roof height is 483' now...gotta love how the state density bonus is forcing the construction of proper skyscrapers (so, more units) where the city wanted to build stunted baby highrises/midrises. SOMA/Mission Bay is the best part of the city to build more skyscrapers, due to how relatively underdeveloped it is, combined with the good transit access and proximity to downtown jobs (not to mention the ability for new highrises to blend in with existing skyscrapers that are right next door, for those people who are scared of tall buildings), so it's especially nice to see misguided attempts at keeping SF "quaint/charming/sunny/etc" (for example height limits, which are often pushed by people who just want to preserve views/parking/housing scarcity) get defeated there. I hope the same thing happens on a large scale in Western SOMA, which has some goofy height limits for its location. Anyways, time for a thread title update!
