I won't pretend that cost wasn't part of the equation.
At the completion of the Concourse B extension there will be nearly 100 gates. For a terminal and concourses ripe with windows and viewing opportunities, the (what appears to be) 5-10x cost of glass jet bridges just doesn't make much sense - especially at that scale.
