And speaking of such myopia, I was disgruntled to find last week that on one short stretch of Hawthorne Street in Dartmouth, HRM has seen fit to squander thousands more on not one but three great big shiny, brand new Samerrhoids.

The money we spend fixing imaginary problems is beyond belief. Hawthorne is - and always has been - narrow and congested enough, with parking on both sides, that speeding is nearly impossible anyway.

This nonsense is simply without end.
