Another recent example were the TSC hardware stores seen in various parts of mostly eastern Canada up until their recent purchase and rebranding by Peavey Mart. TSC carried similar branding to their former parent company Tractor Supply Co, although the US parent had sold the Canadian division to a Toronto investment firm 35 years ago.
