Charles-Andreas Brym (23) makes the switch from FC Eindhoven to Sparta Rotterdam. The French-born attacker, who has six caps for Canada in which he scored once, has signed for three seasons.
Gerard Nijkamp reacts to the signing of Brym. "He has been on our radar for some time and we followed him closely last season, and very intensively in the last period. We are convinced of his qualities. He was an important player at the well-performing FC Eindhoven, who we believe can make the step to the Eredivisie. Brym is currently on the road with the Canada national team. On June 5, he will play against Iran (cancelled), and for the Nations League he will meet Curaçao and Honduras (June 9 and 13). Canada will participate in the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
