i think it is important for people to remember, no matter how small something seems, we live in a rain forest and rain can be unpredictable. see last November with the flooding. and since we are supposed to be all building for climate change, who knows what can happen. i don't know, I'm just leery about how well this will work in our climate. i mean i hope it works well! though i am not sure yet.

thats good about the drain. i do like linear drains, i hope the clean the muck out on a regular basis though.
