Red face TORONTO | 2444 Yonge St | 331 FT, 272 FT / 101 M, 83 M | 27, 21 FLOORS

A substantial chunk of Yonge street fronting land will be redeveloped soon for a pair of residential twers with retail at the base. At this time, there's ongoing demolition occuring in one of the former storefronts in this plot, with two stores out of the 5 that are/were on this assembled plot still open.

Several years ago a historic bank building was demolished on the site, and is presently a gravel lot (with a "ghost" kitchen now there). Unfortunately, that means there's less of an opportunity to ensure heritage resources are retained in this development and fine-grain programming is enforced here.
