"better" and "worse" are subjective terms, and I cannot agree with you on that one. The way the Chrysler Building is clad with intricate brickwork from toe to tip is pretty dang amazing, not to mention the one-of-a-kind use of hood ornament gargoyles and hubcaps throughout:
