I digress. Perhaps it is true that Residential Schools have a big part to play in the degradation of civil society:

Those who implemented the Residential School system were the real koo koos in the first place, and they could also pass down their lack of values to their next generations. Greed, ignorance, self-indulgence and entitlement can certainly lead a person astray. The moral fabric has broken down for all to see on the streets of today.
