When he says federally-owned Hurdman lands, he means the land due-east of Hurdman Station? The land that forced the S-curves and build-out of the underpass to knowhere and the lack of logical bus-travel direction?

Yeah, we should use that land for something like this, I like it. Perhaps with a couple of condos, a hotel, and a full sports center. Small-scale free community items included (skate parks, basketball courts, and outdoor rink) It can't just be a pool building with a small parking lot in a windswept pocket of brush-land.

That is, if we can get around the contaminated backfill, significant wetland/invasive species swamp, Rideau River Runoff, Karen who likes to ski in there, the homeless camp right in the middle of the brush, dealing with the NCC, and finding a significant design that isn't 'cadillac'.
