We also think a lot about do we have enough demand in Austin for this stuff, but with the right kind of projects, transportation, and amenities, demand in Austin won't matter. We'll start attracting companies from elsewhere who would have liked to be here previously but couldn't because we didn't have what they needed. I also think we need to keep an eye on our convention center and the airport and make improvements there. That will attract more business and bring eyeballs here to see what we have. I still hear people saying our airport is too small, and these are non-Austinites saying it.
All of this. I haven't kept up with our convention center/airport expansion news, but we need to grow in that regard... wish ABIA was re-named too lol.

I truly think by the end of this decade we will at least look like a Philly or even 90's LA in terms of transit, housing, skyline, civic center, arts, etc.
