I agree 100% on all points.
My only issue with the Kent Street project is that the DVA / VAC building takes up most of the south side of Kent. What I’d LOVE to see, as part of the planned renovations to the building, would be for the Kent Street side of the building, ground level, be converted to space that the public could use…be it a small exhibit telling the stories of Islanders who served our country, lease space for small / local shops, or a combination of both. I’ll be expressing these wishes in a letter to the VAC minister, and the city.
