Oh please no! As someone who had to use both 30 th street and Union Station on a regular basis I'd say the opposite is true. Union station should aspire to be a lot more like 30th or Grand Central. I mean, it's great that it has a fancy shopping mall crammed into it, but it leaves no room for the actual train station and waiting/ boarding is an absolute mess. 30th street is an absolute pleasure to use as an actual train station.
Suburban station on the other hand...
