Seeing the closed down SPiN in these photos reminded me that it appears that their Austin location is the only one that they closed permanently.

Their statement here says want to come back to Austin, but it sound as if the permanent closure may not have been their choice:

My guess is that this corner has been (or will be sold) off for redevelopment.
