Good one!!

The Greber plan really didn't produce a lot of riverfront roads except the Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway which is mostly suburban anyways. What was there before would not have given good public access to the riverfront. In those places, the city mostly backed onto the river and that would have not given us what you are hoping for either. At least we got some parks and pathways (as well as the road).

The slum and industrial clearance at Lebreton, Chaudiere and in Hull, was necessary to regain some riverfront access although it has been taking far too long to give us something that we are all hoping for. That was also part of the Greber Plan, so it wasn't all bad.
