I agree. I noticed they had cleaned some of the rust and stuff off, and I think they just missed it and aren't likely to come back and clean it. Will likely wait until something else needs to be cleaned. Maybe we can "anti-vandalise" it by cleaning it ourselves?
Perhaps they hope a few rains in the spring will clean it off for free.
