That's actually pretty exciting stuff.

Personally I would never stay at one but it's location at Kelloggs is ideal as it helps reinforce the idea that it is an entertainment destination.

For Old East it's impact will be huge. Not only will it obviously bring tourists {mostly younger} to the area but far more importantly, name recognition. It reinforces the idea that Old East is becoming London's new place to be area. The fat that it go a big development by an internationally well known company will help change the mentalities of many Londoners who still the the area as a no-go zone and spur more development of the area and get more attention from larger companies.

This is a big development physically but the impact will be far more significant psychologically as people begin to change their views about Old East
