Will they build the office tower at the same time?
HM Commercial has space listed for lease in the office tower with anticipated occupancy of spring 2022. I'd assume they are testing the demand which will trigger the timeline for that building. With both Brooklyn and Bertram rising on either side I doubt Mission group wants to leave a vacant development property in the middle for a length of time. The initial submission shows development in phases with Bertram first followed by the Block listed as phase 2. Drawings appear to support stand alone towers even though the podium connects both at level 6. I must say I am surprised with the speed Mission group seems to be moving with. I believe, and correct me if I am wrong, but there was an interview with one of their senior management a few months ago where they said they have other target sites in the core as well. Interesting development times.
