Austin is my favorite skyline in Texas. San Antonio is great once you are down there walking around since its fairly dense due to everything on the riverwalk. Dallas just doesn't do it for me and Houston has its spots but something is missing there.
If skylines could be compared to residential homes:
Dallas - Tract home (unoriginal and can be seen anywhere)
Houston - That expensive home with subpar finishes but is priced as if it were custom
San Antonio - 1950s ranch that is nice on the inside but not impressive from the outside
Austin - Custom, New, Expensive, Fun to look at and everyone wants one
