Looks like they plan to eventually redevelop this and the Zax's property together.
Here's hoping they propose (and build) a pencil tower taller than the Hyatt, the Catherine, and really anything else nearby.

They have to be thinking on the scale of the oncoming American-Statesman redevelopment.
