Huh. I literally came here to say the opposite.
If you look in the early images I the above set, the balconies look great because you *can't* see the white frames of the balcony. They look invisible so the geometric shapes of the deck roof elements are emphasized. The white balcony lines distract from that.
Black balcony frames would be the closest to unnoticeable, thereby helping to keep the focus on the architecture. IMO.
