City, Growlers Reach Agreement in Principle for 10-Year Mile One Lease Extension
Looks like an agreement has been reached between the city and Growlers/Edge.

It appeared a couple of weeks ago as if talks involving the Growlers and the Edge were going off the rails but the parties got back to the table and at one point this week were “close” to an agreement. They have since finalized a 10-year agreement with the Growlers and the Edge.
Mayor Danny Breen and the councilor responsible for St. John’s Sports and Entertainment, Sandy Hickman, are speaking to the media at 2:30 this afternoon. Growlers President and CEO Dean MacDonald will also be there.
