College Park aims higher with new $700M+ Airport City master plan

The City of College Park has a new maser plan for the mixed-use development it plans for 420 acres it owns west of Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, having parted ways with the original master developer.

The city hired Atlanta architecture and planning firm Sizemore Group to develop a new plan that the city would own. Total investment could reach $1.5 billion.
The new plan will include:
  • 5 million square feet of office
  • (up to) 6 hotels
  • 758,000 sf of retail including outlet mall
