Edit - Stupid question. The tournament is in August/September.
I've always been a huge basketball fan but for the first 15 years I only watched Canadian/US college basketball and national team games. I added NBA about 5 years ago but still prefer watching college and international basketball.

Canada currently has 13 players on NBA rosters and there are another 8 Canadians who have declared for the NBA draft on June 20th. By the time the WC rolls around, being a NBA player won't guarantee you a spot on the national team. We likely won't have an all-NBA squad either. I imagine a couple non-NBA players will be chosen over NBA talent in the name of team chemistry. Melvin Ejim and possibly Brady Heslip fall into that category. That said, this might be the last time where our national team has non-NBA talent on it.
