Of course, I only highlighted the aspects relating to crime (given the thread). The "other side" has just as much if not more supporting evidence to keep this things going. The numbers translate to a heck of a lot of lives having been saved - with much of that success being attributed to the appropriate location for this type of service (no matter how you cut it, there is density, there are users and there are abusers - all around this location). That's the problem, there really isn't a good location for a safe injection site. Unfortunately for people in the Beltline, it's the area that makes the most sense. The Beltline was already struggling even before the safe injection site.
