I like them too but I'd imagine there's a privacy issue if the road is popular.
There's one new house on Crescent Road that's been extensively photographed. It's basically a wall of windows that lgive a great view of downtown. But with a family living in it, I would think all the ground level windows would need to be obscured by blinds or drapes as otherwise you can see right through the house.
