I'm the same way about Amazon HQ2, I don't care if they come and would rather they not. Most people I know around here are not thrilled with the idea and let's face it, they already employ thousands of people here and will no doubt be hiring more.

Most people in Austin are never thrilled about anything, Austinites bitch like they get paid to do it.
If we get HQ2, it will be a net positive for the majority. “The need of the many outway the need of the few”. I will always support good high paying jobs. I grew up in a miserable economy in Mississippi in the 70-80’s. A sure fire way out of a shitty life is more/better employment.
