I'm impressed with the amount of road overhaul work that has been going on in London in recent years. I'm realizing there's been a ton of changes since I first got my drivers license:

- Commissioners widened from Wharncliffe to Wellington, and then from Viscount to Wonderland
- Springbank Drive widened east of Wonderland
- Bradley built from Wonderland to Wharncliffe
- Oxford extended west over the river, and widened from Wonderland to Hyde Park and then to Sanitorium
- Wonderland widened from Gainsborough to Fanshawe Park
- Fanshawe Park widened from Wonderland to Hyde Park, and from Adelaide to Highbury
- Hyde Park widened from Oxford to Fanshawe Park
- Wellington bridge over 401 replaced
- Hale-Trafalgar overpass built
- Western Road widened north of UWO, and now being widened from Platt's Lane to Oxford
- Southdale widened from Wharncliffe to Wonderland
- Sarnia Road bridge replaced

(I'm starting to feel old, realizing how much London's road network has changed...)

Southdale's widening is definitely needed. When I was first driving it was mostly rural out that way with low traffic volumes, none of the development west of Bostwick Road was there yet. It's changed a ton in the past 8-9 years and traffic has grown a lot.
