That's terrible, and I think Asian and Hispanic growth will not come anywhere near enough to compensate for it. And white populations are stagnant, with lower/blue collar/middle class simply swapping out for high income yet smaller households.

So 2020 will continue to show population loss. We might as well get over it--Chicago isn't going to grow any time soon, but that doesn't prevent it from being a nicer and healthier city.
