It's worth noting that the hotels do not open for another three weeks. That's potentially around a thousand guests (and destination gamblers) when booked-up. Also, I don't believe any of the conference, event and ballroom space are open for business yet. We are also heading into the slower-season for tourism.
When summer, the hotels booked, game night at BC Place and the weekend, that place could get crazy.
