Great to hear it! I won't have a chance to make it down either, but I made sure to send a letter of support on the 18th.
My observation is that the opposition to this project comes almost entirely from residents of the neighbouring Patina. I can understand why they bemoan the loss of views/space, but honestly I don't know what people expect when they choose to live next to an empty/underbuilt lot in a downtown core that has been changing at the rate Vancouver has.
