Wife and I do this quite a bit. Get up on a Sunday or Saturday Morning Grab a coffee and point the car randomly in one direction. Just drive with no destination planned. Sometimes down the highway leads to a gravel road and maybe a correction line across a farm field.

Because the terrain changes so dramatically here you never know what you will come across. Some small town finds are great ice cream parlours, or coffee shop that is not a Tims or Starbucks. Now we have the Spirits and Beer guide so the next few trips will take us on a tasting tour.
