With owning their own building, they will get 100% of all the revenue from booze, concessions and gate receipts. a project like this can get financed over many years.
pretty much most of the concerts go to Sasktel center. there is no reason to think they won't attractive t shows in a new building.

Oh lord - I can already hear the b*tching about lack of parking... you know, because it wouldn't be surrounded by a parking lot, and there isn't enough street parking within a 10 foot radius of the arena doors.
(they'll obviously feel free to ignore all of the parkades & the fact that downtown is Regina's transit hub)
