Yeah, and the gas there was always a couple cents cheaper. I'm in the minority here, but I was sad to see that place go. It wasn't a historic gem by any means but we have so few pretty WWII buildings left standing.
It'll be interesting to see how 8th Ave develops. Maybe that section can become a pedestrian mall and become an extention of Stephen Ave when the library is complete.
