While this is still very early in this site's development cycle, I have to believe that we are going to see some daring architecture here. There are only two ways to achieve this block's potential:

1. A two-phase project that replaces the firehouse in the first phase, or
2. A project that capitalizes on the air rights above the firehouse.

Any project that goes the route of (2) will require some daring structural engineering (cantilevering) which in turn demands daring architecture. And Brandywine has proven they can do daring quite well.
