I find the two main roads that go end to end constantly frustrating because of those intersections. You just can't get to where you want efficiently.
Frankly, I don't see why anybody who owns a vehicle should be complaining about Dartmouth Crossing (or BL for that matter). Those of us who don't have the ability to drive and use other methods of transport (cycling and transit)- as much as I love DC.. the Crossing is an absolute royal pain. You CAN get where you want efficiently, you can drive from a parking spot at Boston Pizza, to a parking spot in front of home depot in less than 2 minutes. Wanna try the "one end to another" when walking? Best set aside about 20 minutes for that. You want to see a movie? You can drive down the 118, take the exchange and park directly in front of the theatre. Or try waiting for a bus after doing a little shopping in the middle of February on the side of the road up there.. navigate a few areas with no sidewalks, on the road next to traffic, or through snowbanks with a bone chilling wind whipping at you from up over the hill when it's -20. Try those, Keith, then come here to complain how hard you think dealing with Dartmouth Crossing is with your car. *mic drop*
