It's a pretty cool place. I've lived here just over 4 years now and it's a really interesting place in the way that you get to literally watch the development of a place from a regional centre into a cosmopolitan global city. There's a lot going on at the municipal level to change things for the better, some things like the condo recycling program took far too long, but other things like the C-Train being 100% wind-powered came along way ahead of their time. Brookfield Place is a jewel in the skyline but it's also going to improve the public realm with a half acre open air public plaza and retail pavilion in a very high traffic area of the city.
