Of course, the City has made so many illogical decisions I'm close to giving up hope for a better city of the future. In this case, I totally agree that the area north of East Hastings should be kept industrial since it's so close to the railyards and port. In fact, the industrial parcel north of Olympic Village should be rezoned to commercial/residential, since it is close by downtown, and to the major transit routes.
