The great part about that is, by the end of this year, most of the neighbourhood will be either complete or under construction, as CMLC just announced today that 5 more projects will be starting this year (Ink, Alt Hotel, Shops of East Village, Verve, and The Hat). There is only one full block left in the EV without an official proposal on it.
