If we go back to what this was about originally, my point was aimed at taking some of the blame off immigrants (if people were tempted to blame them for the situation).

Basically, people shouldn't be angry at immigrants for not integrating to something that's so loosely constructed and elusive at times.

Of course, if people are comfortable with immigrants' current practices (doing their own thing), then there is no issue.

I honestly suspect that's the case for most Canadians, but not all them obviously.
