From what I was able to gather online, it seems Veronica was going to expo 70and Archie goes on the plane (oh the days.....) to apologize (?) to her. The plane winds up taking off with him onboard. While at the fair, Archie and Veronica run in to Mr. Weatherbee (as one does)
