It would be interesting to see the numbers for the GO Centre on Hunter, to provide a Hamilton-specific comparison. I bet that station doesn't look great either compared to the other Lakeshore West stations that have all-day service (though adding bus passengers may balance things more).

It still makes way more sense in terms of travel time for many Toronto-bound commuters in Hamilton and points eastward throughout Niagara to drive to Aldershot, Burlington, or Appleby. But that may change over time.

Should change with high speed rail and upgraded tracks decreasing train times.
