I can't comment on the video board being a problem, because I'm on the SS at the 55 yard line. However, if your on the North side, it's probably tough to see especially if your closer to the East end of the stadium.
They should have put the scoreboard right in the middle. I know it would be covering the parking garage, but who cares? The parking garage has a direct connection to the building (if I was paying high end money, I would be expecting one as well).
The best solution would have been to move the garage to where the scoreboard is now, and just added a longer walk way to the building. It's like 15 meters.
Since that's not going to happen, they need to add a secondary scoreboard on the SS (maybe over the broadcasters booth) at some point.
