What the heck is with this talk on twitter that the flight paths for 17R/35L shifted more westward? Are they simply confusing approach paths to the runway?

A guy in Bridgeland swears they are turning slightly west to pass closer over them, but Nick has pointed out many times that has not been the case and never was (except turboprop turns).

Is the CAA trying to confuse the matter with the new runway and the 15 degree turn after departure?
