My feeling is that with Burnaby building mainly apartments that are not suitable for families, the price of detached homes may be escalating faster as more people bid on these houses, and the supply remains relatively static.

I'd like to see Burnaby start building row-houses on the periphery of these town centres. The neighborhoods along the Willingdon corridor would seem suitable as it is the connector between Metrotown and Brentwood. And the area between Metrotown and Edmonds would work as well.

I don't mind tower development, but at this point they're getting a little boring. Let's build some family oriented neighbourhoods as well.
