They provide affordable rental housing because they're old and not as nice as newer housing. So in other words you're asking to keep the quality of housing stock down as an affordable housing policy. I think we can do better than that...
Agreed that the industrial lands should absolutely be redeveloped. The huge car dealerships just steps from transit are such a waste.
